IFD FAKRO CONFERENCE
AND
3rd IFD FAKRO SKI WORLD CUP 2012
3rd International Championships for Roofers has finished.
Once again, representatives from dozens European countries met at the next IFD FAKRO Ski World Cup 2012. Competition took place on February 11 on the slopes of Jaworzyna Krynicka. Among several dozen participants, representing 9 European countries, competing in giant slalom in men's category the best was Armin Graf from Switzerland. Second place was taken by Rudolf Sebest from Slovakia. On third position Branislav Tulis also from Slovakia was placed. Among women, the best was Karin Gamma representing Switzerland, Second place was won by Elena Pakhutko representing Russia, and the third one by Cristina Gerber also from Switzerland. In team classification, the representatives of Czech Republic occurred to be the best, Slovakia was second, and Switzerland placed itself on the third position.
Foreign visitors were impressed by the professionalism of FAKRO company, both in terms of organization of the championships, as well as the conference, which was attended by nearly a hundred representatives from eleven European countries, representing roofing industry. This international meeting was a chance for discussion and exchange of experiences with roofers from national federations associated in the IFD.
The visit in the company was one of the program points at the FAKRO company site. The guests who visited the company did not hide their interest especially in the innovative process of production by use of the most innovative technologies.
The stay in the region of Nowy Sącz was very successful. Willingness of organizing International Championship by the FAKRO next year was enthusiastically adopted by the participants.
